It's been a few month since we've posted anything, so I thought we would catch up.

We spent a week at Bear Lake. We hung out at the beach a couple of the days. This is Sean and one of his cousins. They were seeing who could cover themselves in the most sand.

This is the best way to spend a day at the beach.

I'm not the only one who naps.

We spent a day and hiked up to Bloomington Lake which is about 20 miles from Bear Lake. It is a 2 mile hike to get there. The fishing was pretty good and the view was great.

Baseball

Sean spent the spring playing baseball. He plays about every position including pitcher.

He was selected to be on the Idaho Falls All Star team. They ended playing in the state tournament in Moscow. We stayed with my cousin Danielle and her family and my parents camped at the ballfield. It was alot of fun. Their team missed qualifing for the next tournament by one game.

Fishing/Hunting
I spent a few day fishing on the Snake River for sturgeon. Three of us caught about about 16 of them in three days.

They averaged around 7-8 feet and weighed about 200 pounds.

After reeling one in for 45 minutes, you need to rest for a half an hour to let your arms stop shaking.

I went deer hunting in Mackey with my cousin Cameron. It took us 3 hours to get this little thing back to the truck.

Halloween

We all had fun carving pumpkins.

Tasty

I had to work that night, so they came to visit me. I x-rayed their candy. Some of it had to be confiscated.

Christmas

The primary put on a program and Emily had a speaking part in it.

Santa even showed up.

We had a big Christmas party with Heidi's family. Lots of presents for everyone.

I can't believe our youngest is four. They sure grow up fast.

Emily was in a play and she got to play Godilocks.

Golf N' Sod

Heidi and I celebrated our 14th anniversary. We spent the night at a bed and breakfast and went golfing the next morning. It was the first time for Heidi and she almost beat me.

Jill and Dan watched our kids overnight and we helped them lay sod. The lower the stacks got, the heavier the sod got.

MOAB

The kids had spring break so we decided we needed to go somewhere warm. We left Idaho Falls and it was snowing and 25 degrees. The weather was in the high 60's low 70's while we were down there. We did alot of hiking in Arches National Park. The first day we went to Devil's Garden. The main arch there was Landscape Arch.

The next day we went to Delicate Arch. That's the arch on the Utah licence plates. It is a little over 3 miles and pretty much uphill all the way.

After a few narrow walkways ........being bored and tired ..................and throwing a few fits ...............

we finally made it!!! Once we made it, the kids forgot all about the hike up and said it was "totally worth it".

Our last day we drove around Canyonlands National Park. It really had some spectacular views.
