One Years Worth

Christmas came to our house.

What a mess.

I got my elk mounted for Christmas. Our walls are really brown, not mustard color.

We had a Christmas party with the Thomas clan. We can't do anything without getting a family picture. Everone was there except Cami and Sheina's husbands. They will be photoshopped in on the ends.

The theme of the party went along with the movie "A Christmas Story." We got to stick our tongues to a flag pole......

and see how long we could take soap in our mouths. There was also a shooting gallery (no one shot their eye out).

Tyson got a special haircut. Heidi even let him go to school like that for one day.

I can't make a comment about this picture without being mean, so that's all I have to say about that.

Sledding with the Claysons.

You got to love the walk back up the hill.

I went elk hunting with some friends. He got his cow a week before I got mine in the same area. Here we are in t-shirts and a week later I am in three feet of snow.

He made a little trailer out of a ice fishing sled. It made for an easy pack out.

Halloween

We went deer hunting and this was the only dead thing we saw the entire time.
Tyson had a doctors appt. in Salt Lake so we stopped at Temple Square on our way home.

I told them that they were sitting in the same spot that I asked their Mom to marry me over 17 years ago.

Tyson had a stroke and spent a couple days at Primary Childrens. His favorite part was when Swoop, the University of Utah's masot, came to visit. My favorite part was the cheerleader.

I got to go sturgeon fishing again this year.

We spent a week at Bear Lake with Heidi's family.

We took Dax, our dog, with us and we took him for a walk every morning.

We spent alot of time at the beach.

We took almost 2 1/2 weeks and went down the Oregon and California Coast. This is where we camped in the redwoods. They had bear boxes at every camp site.

We stopped and talked to Paul Bunyon and his big blue ox.

We also swung by Crater Lake on our way home. There was still snow up there in the middle of June.

We stayed at the sand dunes in Florence, Or.

We took a tour of the dunes in this little dune buggy.

We also rented sand boards. They were alot of fun once you got the hang of it.

Our first stop along the way was the Bonniville Dam Fish Hatchery.

This is Herman the 10 foot sturgeon.

Then on we went to Newport to meet up with the rest of the family.

We spent some time on the beach but it seemed like it was always too cold to get very far into the water.

You gotta go when you gotta go.

Crabbing on the pier.

Hanging with the cousins.

I have always wanted to go deep sea fishing. This is the only picture I got on the boat before I started puking for five straight hours.

This is as close as I ever want to get to the Crackerjack again.

Tide pools.

We toured a couple of lighthouses.

This picture was the reflection of all the glass at the top of the lighthouse.

For our anniversy, Heidi and I spent a couple of days in a cabin at a hot springs in Montana.

The bathroon accomidations weren't that great.

Sean graduated from 6th grade

and Tyson graduate from kindergarden.

We spent alot of time at the ball field with the boys.

Tyson and his friend have the same birthday and his dad worked at a go-cart track so we got the place to ourselves one night.

We spent Easter at Tremonton.

The Ussings came up and spent the day with us.

They had a pinyata set up at the clubhouse for the kids.

There wasn't much left after Sean was done with it.

I went with Sean and the scouts to Island Park cross country skiing.

I think they spent more time on the ground than on their skiis.
